Pinnacle Telecom Group plc (formerly “Glen Group plc”) is a value added, solutions based provider of telecommunications services including IP solutions. It focuses on the SME market where it provides a wide range of customer solutions including telecommunications calls, access and consultancy, IT support, mobile solutions both voice and data and hosted broadband voice services.

 

The Group aims to build a £50m business by creating solutions that join together a company’s three core networks (IT network, telephony network and mobile network). Pinnacle's strategy is to be a SME focused, value added, solutions based provider of converged communications services driven by leveraging organic opportunities as well as through targeted acquisitions.

 

Pinnacle underwent a fundamental restructuring during 2007 – a process that has taken two years to show concrete results – and which included the disposals of Eclectric and inGroup and a reversion of the business back toward recurring revenue streams (88% of revenues in 2009 up from 33% in 2008) from non-recurring projects.

 

Pinnacle is fully licensed Public Telephone Operator, has its own telephone network and interconnects with BT, Virgin Media and THUS. It has its own hosted voice (VoIP) platforms and engineers and owns Scotland’s oldest ISP (and a founder member of Nominet), operating from its data centres in Glasgow, London and Brighton.

 

By utilising traditional telephony and existing IT and mobile applications, coupled with next generation Internet Protocol (IP) services, Pinnacle is creating bespoke solutions for organisations, which increase efficiency, reduce cost and provide disaster recovery contingencies for its customers.

 

Pinnacle’ has prospered through organic growth, targeted acquisitions and disposals. Today; Pinnacle is one of the UK’s leading providers of converged communications solutions, bringing together fixed and mobile telephony, VoIP and broadband, all bundled and serviced wrapped to the client on one bill.

 

Having now completed its first phase of acquisitions the Group is poised and ready for the next steps of its growth strategy. The Group now consists of specialised technology companies that contain exciting leading edge telephony products and services.

 

Our acquisitions have been carefully selected to align with our strategic plans to assemble a highly profitable service and product offering that can be distributed in volume.


Our growth plans will be achieved by nurturing our existing sales networks whilst creating and building a new superbly trained, professionally managed and motivated national salesforce, capable of delivering new technology-based solutions to the Groups existing and growing client base.
