
William (Bill) Allan, is the Group's Non-Executive Chairman. Prior to joining Pinnacle he was Chief Executive of THUS Group plc from February 1999 until December 2008. Bill has more than 25 years' experience in the telecommunications industry. In previous years he has also been Chief Executive of Cable & Wireless Regional Businesses, and a director on the boards of Telecommunications of Jamaica, Entel Panama, the Barbados Telephone Company, and the Barbados External Telecommunications Company.
Between 1995 and 1997, Bill was Regional Director for Cable & Wireless North East Asia Region, President and Representative Director of Cable & Wireless Japan, and Chairman of Cable & Wireless Communication Services Limited (Japan). He was also a Director on the boards of International Digital Communications (IDC Japan), Sakhalin Electrosvyaz, Sakhalin Telecom, Sakhalin Telecom Mobile and Nakhodka Telecom.

Alan is the group’s CEO. He founded Pinnacle Telecom PLC in 1998. The business, including Pinnacle Mobile Limited and Sports Club Telecom Limited, was brought into Glen Group plc (later renamed Pinnacle Telecom Group plc) in June 2007. Pinnacle, based in Scotland, grew very rapidly as a provider of solutions based telecoms services to the SME market. The company has received numerous awards for its growth profile, and the entrepreneurial nature of the way it helped businesses by taking a solutions based approach to their telecoms requirements.

John is a Non-Executive Director. A Chartered Accountant and a former partner at Grant Thornton, he has worked with many of Scotland’s most exciting growth companies. He is the CEO of The Entrepreneurial Exchange, The Entrepreneurial Exchange is Scotland's leading members' organisation for ambitious, growth-orientated entrepreneurs. Formed in 1994, it has 450 members, representing over £22 billion of turnover and 290,000 employees. John is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Strathclyde, a founding GlobalScot member, a Saltire Foundation Fellowship advisory board member and sits on the boards of PSYBT and Stirling University Innovation Park.

Paul is responsible for Group Operations and has held a number of Senior Development and Managing Director roles, mainly in the Logistics sector
with blue chip companies such as Revlon, TNT, BRS and Exel Logistics both in the UK and Germany. For the last fifteen years Paul successfully ran his own cost management company and additionally, for the last four years co-owned and help build Accent Telecom UK Ltd with Darron Giddens. Following a period of significant and profitable revenue growth, Accent was acquired by Pinnacle Telecom Group plc in June 2009.

Garry is responsible for Group sales and marketing and has held several Senior Directorate sales and marketing positions such as Sales Director for Save & Prosper, Head of Sales for Bupa and Sales Director at the Prudential. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Garry had been working with Canon Europe supporting the European Sales Force’s in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Garry is known a major European influence regarding the integration of new media marketing and has been a guest speaker at venues such as the University of Cairo and the Hapsburg Palace, speaking about the ‘Future of Digital and New Media Marketing.’ Garry has an outstanding track record and is renowned for achieving spectacular increases of sales revenue by creating, managing and driving cross platform distribution channels. Garry’s work with Bupa was widely acknowledged within the Private Healthcare Insurance Industry as one of the most successful recurring income models, achieving a tenfold increase over a three and a half year period. Garry has a passion for music and gadgets and also collects guitars. At the age of 50 he ran his first 10k road race in 2008, finishing in 1 hour and seven minutes also completing the London to Brighton bike ride in the same year in 5 hours 57 minutes. Garry is married and with lives in Surrey with his wife and four children.

Darron is an accomplished FD responsible for Group finance. Following successful completion of his MBA at Aston University, Darron founded the Independent Telecommunications Consultancy Group (IDN Telecom Plc), which he successfully floated on the LSE AIM Market in 2000 for £13.6m. IDN Telecom was later sold to Redstone Telecom Plc in 2006 when Redstone raised £40m to acquire IDN telecom plc and Comunica. Darron initially trained as an accountant with the Trust House Forte Hotel and Leisure Group, he then went on to carve out a career as Head of Finance for the UK division of European financial services giant GAN Insurance, before enjoying a period working with Boston Consulting Group defining strategy for their UK Life and Pensions division, at which point, when drawing on previous experiences, Darron formed Accent Telecom UK Ltd, a business focused on delivering innovative voice and data solutions to the UK SME market. Following a period of significant and profitable revenue growth, Accent was acquired by Pinnacle in June 2009. Possessing a rare mix of commercial expertise, financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the UK IT and Telecommunications industry, Darron continues to play a key role in the development of Pinnacle. Outside work, Darron enjoys sharing his love of football, music, cinema and theatre, with his wife and five children.
